Challenge
Our main challenge was to design and develop a complete game within just one week—one that delivers a story-driven experience that is both intuitive for players to pick up and realistic for our team to execute in a limited timeframe.
Opportunity
We leveraged the unique physical interaction of DDR pads and added a multiplayer competition mode to quickly create an engaging and energetic experience. A simple block-style art direction enabled fast visual iteration within our tight timeline.

The Experience
A fast-paced desert racing game where you control your animal by stepping through rhythmic patterns on a DDR pad. Race against your friends, stay on your toes (literally!), and be the first to cross the finish line in this fun and physical competition.

My Role
In this project, I used Blender to model and rig four different animal characters, each with their own set of animations. I designed the user interface in Figma and implemented the character and animation integration in Unity 3D.

Character Design
As a multiplayer game, we chose animals with distinct characteristics as player characters to make them easy to distinguish and to offer varied gameplay experiences.

To enhance the characters' presence in the game, we created custom idle and running animations for each one, adding a greater sense of personality and motion.

As a racing game, the UI was designed to highlight DDR-based interactions while clearly displaying key gameplay information such as race time, player progress, and relative positions.
